Online Preliminary Application Form 2013

Thank you for your interest in the Mr. & Miss Viet Nam Continents 2013 Pageant which will be held at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, California on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Our pageant is a rich cultural event that celebrates the beauties of Vietnamese men and women with the goal of producing positive role models and ambassadors of goodwill for the community. Our mission is to promote self-confidence, self-worth and traditional values in our contestants. We will be awarding winners for first place, runner-ups and other various titles. The winners will recieve prizes and cash which will be announced shortly.


What you need to know

In order to be qualified to apply, male contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 and be at least 5'8" (172cm) and female contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 28 and be at least 5'4" (162cm). Submitting a preliminary application is absolutely free and easy to do online. Deadline to submit your application is June 30th 2013. Upon preliminary acceptance, contestants are required to submit a USD $300.00 non-refundable finalist registration fee which will be used for hotel and other minor expenses for the duration of the competition (August 4th to 11th). You will be responsible for travel costs to and from Orange County, California. In addition, you are to provide your own outfits that are required for the competition. For female contestants, this includes but is not limited to a traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, a two-piece Swim Suit and an Evening Gown of your choice. Male contestants are to provide their own male Ao Dai, Speedo Briefs or Trunks and Tuxedo. Please contact the pageant coordinators (admin@trungtammc.com) for specific details.

Photos

You are required to submit at least four (4) professional photographs of yourself (at least one headshot and one full body). Your photographs must be recently taken within the past year to reflect your current appearance. Your headshot must be a high resolution file of your entire head down to your chest. These photographs will be used on our posters and promotional materials. You may send them to info@trungtammc.com after your application is submitted.


Disclaimer

I hereby apply as an entrant in the Mr. & Miss Viet Nam Continents 2013 Pageant and I acknowledge and agree as follows:

  1. If male, I will be at least eighteen (18) and under thirty-five (35) years of age the year I compete. If female, I will be at least eighteen (18) and under twenty-eight (28) years of age the year I compete.
  2. I am not married, have never been married and have never had a marriage annulled.
  3. I have never given birth to a child and am not now pregnant nor am I a parent.
  4. I have never been arrested or convicted of any crime, including misdemanors.
  5. I have never taken, posed, and/or modeled for any nude photographs and/or other sexually explicit multimedia media/medium.
  6. I agree that if I participate in the Mr. & Miss Viet Nam Continents pageant, I will abide by all rules and regulations governing the pageant.
  7. I allow Minh Chanh Entertainment the rights to take and use my photographs and video footage in any and all media.
  8. I understand that the Mr. & Miss Viet Nam Continents pageant is not responsible for any accidents or injuries incurred at the pageant events or during travel to and from the pageant events. The pageant is not responsible for any lost or damaged items during the pageant events.
  9. I HEREBY RELEASE, UNCONDITIONALLY AND FOREVER, ANY CLAIMS AGAINST THE MR. & MISS VIET NAM CONTINENTS PAGEANT, MINH CHANH ENTERTAINMENT, THEIR PARENT OR AFFILIATED OR RELATED COMPANIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, PARTNERS AND STAFFS.
  10. I understand that by not being present at photoshoots, rehearsals and/or other pageant related activities, I will be subject to point deductions from the judges' scores.
  11. Judges' decisions are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
  12. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiting of all prizes, fees, titles, awards, etc.
